If you’d like to play a fast-paced summer sport on Saturday afternoons that only takes a couple of hours, with multiple batting opportunities and brief sessions in the field… then Baseball with the Feds could be right for you!
Mount Gambier & Districts Baseball League Season starts in October and carries on through March. Games are usually played on Friday evenings, with most games played on Saturday mid-morning to late afternoon.
Junior games take around 80-90 minutes, plus a pre-game warm-up. Senior games take around 2 hours, plus a pre-game warm-up.
Junior playing tops are issued to players for the whole season. Purchase of own cap, socks, groin protection and baseball pants required. Alternatively find pants and equipment in out Buy, Swap, Sell group.
Junior players may be eligible for $100 Sports Voucher from the State Government, for students up to Year 9.
2025/26 Season Federal Baseball Club Information
Federal Baseball Club are holding come and try / pre-season light training days until start of season on Sunday mornings from 10am at Blue Lake Sports Park on the junior diamonds, for anyone interested to have a throw or swing a bat!
In season training for all Federal Baseball Teams will be held on Wednesday afternoons at Blue Lake Sports Park, on junior and senior diamonds.
